Fr. Michael, in today's homily explains what it means to be blessed...or not to be; and how to be blessed. The blessedness of a man goes beyond riches and worldly glamour. The blessedness of a man; of a man whose hope is the Lord, is like a tree planted near running water, that yields its fruit in due season, and whose leaves never fade. (cf Ps 1:3). On this 6th Sunday in Ordinary Time, may the Lord keep his gaze upon you as he does to a blessed man and may you remain blessed forever.
