Life takes interesting turns. Sometimes we are very convinced that because we are believers, life should be rosy and filled with all the good things there are; but that is usually not the case
Fr. Mike, on this Second Sunday of Lent, reflecting on Luke's account of the Transfiguration (Lk. 9:28b-36) reminds us that the trials of this life are not foreign to Jesus. He himself, being the Chosen One, has borne many trials. We who are his followers should not expect anything less but be strengthened that he our Lord and Divine Master is with us and when we have successfully followed him, we shall share in his glory which was revealed today on the Mount.
