Brenda is the owner of Willow by B Designs in Windham NH, a unique home decor, furniture, clothing and more! She grew up in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, and went to school for fashion marketing. After school she lived in New York City where she worked in retail marketing for Kenneth Cole. After 9/11, Brenda relocated to Massachusetts, and started a family. It was around then when she started taking interior design classes through the Harvard Adult Education classes and nurtured her love of design. Brenda and the family eventually moved to Windham and it was there when she started decorating her own home that friends took notice of her talented eye for the mix of antiques and current trends! Her interior design career took off and a couple of years later Brenda envisioned an opportunity to convert a historical house in the center of town into her own brick-and-mortar interior design store, named Willow. In this episode, Mike and Brenda sit down to talk about her start and her successes in interior design. They discuss how there’s not always a blueprint in business and that you need to have the ability to just “figure it out”. Brenda challenges herself everyday to live up to her true potential and it has lead to tremendous success in her life!
