Lit formed in Orange County California and have released six studio albums with their seventh album "Taste Like Gold" due out in June 2022. The group had a hit single with "My Own Worst Enemy" off their 1999 album "A Place In The Sun". The song spent 11 weeks atop the Billboard Hot Modern Rock Tracks chart. The group has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Late Show with Conan O'Brien, Later with Craig Kilborn and many other shows.
