Emmitt also serves as Director of the Africana Studies program at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana, and the President-Elect of the National Conference of Black Political Scientists and Larz A. Whitcomb Endowed Faculty Fellow (2022-2025). Dr. Riley is the coauthor of Racial Attitudes in America Today: One Nation, Still Divided.
