DON BREDES lives high in the hills of northern Vermont. He is a novelist, essayist, screenwriter, and teacher.
He was born in New York City and educated at Syracuse University, the University of California, Irvine, where he was awarded an MFA in Fiction, and Stanford University, where he was a Wallace Stegner Fellow.
