George is self-employed and works from home. Jess works full time at an office. Prior to doing the podcast, they worked together in broadcast media. Now that George is home he has taken on a lot of the household tasks like cooking, grocery shopping and school pickup. He is volunteering as a field trip chaperone in their kindergartener's class and she came home from school and told him 'only moms are doing that'. We're talking about 'traditional gender roles' and the transition we've experienced over the last year.
