On this episode of the Film Sessions Podcast, we are excited to feature Marigny Adelman:
“I am a 16 year old student going to a public highschool in Minneapolis, MN, which the school district for is not great and keeps changing or cutting programs, especially arts related ones. So a lot of what I have learned about film making has been through activities outside of school. I love 2d animation and really want to be a part of creating it for my career in the future, probably in storyboarding or visual development, but my ultimate goal in life it to be the creator of an animated TV show. I want to create media that has emotion and adventure, diverse representation and an intricate story. So my short film, which is about how I accidentally outed myself, is sort of a jumping off point. It is something that actually happened in my life, so I didn’t really have to come up with a story. It is all reality based, while what I would rather be making in the future are stories based on human emotion, but in new worlds that I can build, full of magic and things not seen in the real world. ”
