On this episode of the Film Sessions Podcast, we are excited to feature Xiyue Wang:
“My name’s Xiyue Wang. I’m a senior high school student of Beijing No.4 high School International Campus. I have been involved in film and television since she was 3 years old. I have appeared in many well-known film and television works, such as “Red Sorghum”, “Silly Chun”, “Golden Marriage”, “A Word to Live”, “Divorce Agreement”, “Where is Happiness”, etc. Gradually growing up, I began to be dissatisfied with just being a passive actress, and began to try to write, direct, and act in my own film works. In particular, from the perspective of experiencing the Zhong Kao(high school entrance examination), I hope to speak for the true voice of contemporary teenagers, and expect all sectors of society to listen.”
This episode was hosted by Kimmi Breece, a Podcast Host at the Student World Impact Film Festival, and produced by Mark Leschinsky, the Festival Director of the Student World Impact Film Festival.
