Description

On this episode of the Film Sessions Podcast, we are excited to feature YANN RICHEBOURG:

“As a teen I have chosen photography because of the accuracy of the pictures, I stayed a self-taught made man in this art. But my passion for comedy, scene, play, directing and songs, so the 7th art of movie theater, stays stronger and as I write a lot I decided to make a short movie poetry, in order to gather these modes of expression.

I feel a necessity to show something new, as well as universal.

This is my 2nd short film in a same way, but the 1st one was more a trial. I switch from photo to film, including my research of technical training, so I can more and more progress.

My short cut can be perceived as an experimental form, the narrative way avoids, for example, shout and counter shouts, as social themes, a positioning I do assume.

About the process I used little means : sometimes beauty is simply close to you.

Actually I’m also writing a novel which could maybe in the future become a movie, even though it is very poetic and works with my pictures. I want to integrate some songs in, I wrote and sing, without turning it into a typical musical.

Thank you to have read these words

Yann Richebourg”
