Description

On this episode Lusi hosts with contributing co-host Salamander Brandy as they meet with Nikita Ramkissoon as they explore the rumbles of revolution, what it means to be of marginalized status, and how we fight for our rights, and a better world. Today the trans narrative co-hosts meet with Nikita Ramkissoon to talk activism, organizing protests, mobilizing, and fighting for a better world. “Nikita Ramkissoon is writer, editor, and educator with experience in the newsroom, classroom, agency, and NGOs. She runs a platform for survivors of rape and sexual assault to tell their stories anonymously and occasionally write about music when not writing about issues of gender and race for a few publications around the world. Nikita plays the piano, paint, dance, and do YouTube karaoke when I feel like singing badly to the world. I think compassion is underrated in the workplace. She producer a podcast (The Bipolar Feminist Podcast) centered on feminism and mental health. You can find Nikita’s poetry and work at (@bipolar_feminist_poetry on Instagram).“Links to guest social media https://linktr.ee/nikistarfish ⸻
