At this time it is up to the citizen to educate themselves, and become informed on the issues that matter most. Not participating in the world around you is privilege, and those in positions of privilege have a responsibility to fight for those who can’t fight for themselves. Our power lies in our unity as a body of people United by a common goal of preserving the human rights of all people, and to take on the oppressors in whatever manner each of us can. The midterms are coming, and at this time the demographic of voters has shifted to showcase millennial votes as the dominant vote in this country. That generation has the power this hour to affect real change by getting involved on the local level, and paying attention. Distraction is key in the goals of the oppressor, district, divide, and conquer. We must stay informed to ensure we are being manipulated by powers at be. ⸻
