In episode 12 of the Voices of Indy podcast, the cast of the Phoenix Theatre (Indianapolis) production of tick, tick, Boom sat down with Josh to discuss their upcoming run. Patrick Dinnsen (Jonathan), Gabriela Gomez (Susan) and Eddie Dean (Michael) along with Director Emily Ristine Holloway talk about their backgrounds, the impact of working on a musical like this as well what it's like to work with a small cast.

Eddie Dean Humbled to be making his return to Phoenix Theatre, this Indianapolis, IN native hopes to motivate and inspire self-reflection through Storytelling. He has recently been seen here in NNPN Rolling World Premiere Play The Magnolia Ballet by Terry Guest. He also portrayed ‘Gator’ in Memphis The Musical at Indiana Performing Arts Center and ‘Bobby’ in The Color Purple at Civic Theatre in Carmel, Indiana. Other credits include men’s understudy for Ain’t Misbehavin’ and Dante Williams in World Premiere Play SUPADUPA DUPA KID at Barrington Stage Company.

Patrick Dinnsen is an actor/singer/musician hailing from Indianapolis, Indiana, now residing in New York City. Elon MT Grad. Favorite roles include Younger Brother (Ragtime), Eddie Birdlace (Dogfight), and Henry (Next To Normal). He most recently was seen cruising around the Norwegian Fjords as the lead singer/guitarist of the Rolling Stone Rock Room Band for Holland America. Patrick is also a singer-songwriter and has a band with his co-star and fiancée, Gaby, called Ella-Trick. You can see the two of them playing together on the Disney Wonder this winter. Gabriela Gomez is a Virginia Beach native who resides in New York, New York. She is incredibly excited to be in Indy for this dream of a show. Favorite roles includes Princess Jasmine (Disney Cruise Line’s Aladdin), Vanessa (In the Heights), Luisa (Milagro). She is passionate about music and writing for her band, Ella Trick with co-star & fiancé, Patrick Dinnsen. Elon MT. Pantera/Murphy Agency. Emily Ristine Holloway is grateful for the opportunity to direct this beautiful musical as the start to the Phoenix Theatre’s season. As the artistic director and founding member of Summer Stock Stage and Eclipse, she has directed and produced nearly forty musicals in the last twenty seasons. In addition to producing and directing, Emily also works as a performer. Many of her favorite roles were here at The Phoenix Theatre- Helen in Fun Home, Kate Monster in Ave Q, and Diana in Next to Normal. Emily does voice over work, works as a studio singer, produces school theater and teaches and directs theatre at Butler University.
