Tom grew up just outside the city of Milwaukee, WI where shortly after graduating high school became a linesman for the city. In his case, linesman meant maintaining the thousands of telephone wires in Milwaukee. This became his career that he deeply enjoyed. Shortly before retiring he became a grandpa to the Host of Flying Intuition.
