Australian author Linda Margolin Royal wrote the novel"The Star on the Grave" based on the true story of the "JapaneseSchindler"-- the Japanese diplomat who rescued many Jews in Lithuaniaagainst the orders of his government. (Her father was one of these Jews.) Inthis interview she exposes that bookstores in Australia have becomeincreasingly unwilling to promote and sell the book, as well as books by otherJewish authors, after pushback following October 7th.
