Hi! My name is Yaz aka The Girl Who Can't Smell. I have congenital anosmia. What is anosmia? Anosmia is the lack of sense of smell. Mine is congenital meaning since birth.
Basically, I was born without my sense of smell. On my official blog, www.girlwhocantsmell.com, I like to write about what its like to live as an anosmic. I create informative articles, specifically explaining this condition, write posts that offer tips on managing this disability, and provide support. I also entertain with original memes, jokes and all of my personal anosmia stories. Some of my stories describe my anxiety, others focus on being silly and funny.
My primary goals are to connect with other anosmics AND to educate and inform the general public. Anosmia is a rare disability. Most people are unaware it even exists... but not for long! I’m super super excited because my blog is growing and In order for my message to be more inclusive, I have decided to produce the same articles I have on my blog in an audio format through this official podcast channel.
