Being Mediocre is a choice you make, due to many reasons. Are you feeling mediocre about your life and achievements?

We keep holding others responsible for our success and also our failures and we don’t realize that we are the creators of our own destiny. In that context, we are also making the choice of staying mediocre.

Does that make sense?

Why do we choose to be mediocre?

We compare our achievements with those of others. We like to think that we have to be on the same level, financially, emotionally and even spiritually, someone else.

How is that even possible!

Each one of us is here on our life’s journey and have our purpose cut out for us. Each being is blessed with their skill set and abilities and capabilities to achieve what’s meant for their highest good.

So instead of focusing on what we must do to uplift our posturing in life, we focus more on what others have and that takes away our attention from what we must actually do for ourselves.

To achieve your life goals, you can of course be inspired by others' achievements and learn from them. Comparison though is not the right method because that pushes you away from your path or journey and instead creates a complex within you, leading to discontentment with self. You keep coming back to your own misfortunes, your weakness or your inability to achieve your goals and that takes you further away from success. This is what keeps you living a life that is mediocre.

Personal satisfaction and contentment is a different things altogether. You may be happy and content doing simple things and living a simple life. Everyone doesn’t feel super ambitious and that’s alright too.

But wanting success and not reaching out for it, due to laziness, procrastination, fear of failure or fear of success- all this leads to being mediocre and that is an unhealthy way of living a life that otherwise holds massive potential for you to grow in all aspects.

Listen in to this episode of our podcast to know if you are Being Mediocre or are you choosing it out of a sheer disconnect with who you can possibly become!

Keep Shining!
