En este capítulo escucharás nuestra entrevista a Beatriz Fernández Lorca, Doctor en Sociología en la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Master en Sociología en la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Sociólogo de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Participa de CEVE-UC, y sus áreas de interés son Envejecimiento, Vejez, Calidad de Vida y Bienestar, Familia y Relaciones Sociales, Gerontología Social. Hablamos sobre la importancia del afecto en el contexto de los cuidados y cómo a veces se descuida la importancia de considerarlo un derecho humano, tanto de los cuidadores como de la persona que se cuida.

She participates in CEVE-UC, and her areas of interest are Aging, Old Age, Quality of Life and Well-being, Family and Social Relations, Social Gerontology. We talked about the importance of affection in the context of care and how the importance of considering it a human right is sometimes neglected, both for caregivers and for the person being cared for.
