At 1:30am, April 20th 1989 a woman was discovered in the North Woods area of New York Central Park. The women who became to be known as the Central Park Jogger. A passerby found her in a mud-covered ravine. She was naked, gagged, tied up, and covered in mud and blood. That is where we start our story today, but that is nowhere near the end of this tragedy. This is the story of Trisha Meili and the Central Park 5.
