In the last chapter of 1 Timothy, Paul really closes in on two things: False knowledge and finding contentment. We live in a generation where we have access to almost anything, if you want to do a quick Google search it takes 10 seconds, if you want to fly to another state or country you can board a plane and be there within a day or two. Because we have such easy access to everything it can be easy to get lost in what Paul calls false knowledge, and much more not finding true contentment. This is why as Christians we much guard our heart and in most cases stand firm in our faith through the unknowns in our life, when things aren't easy, and when we feel burdened. "For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." (Matt. 11:30) God says stand firm in Him because in Him we have strength, power, and he promises to never let you be tempted beyond your ability to over come that temptation. (1 Corinthians 10:13).
