God sets the standard in Acts 5. Ananias and Sapphire are used as an example for the Christian standard, as they tried to lift themselves up seeking praise from the church yet lying to God about the land they sold - a double No No!! But Peter said it best, "we must obey God," and if there is no punishment for disobedience then Christianity would be filled with hypocrites.
God expects perfection, but because of his grace and mercy He knows we aren't perfect so instead asks that we strive for perfection by "walking in the light." Our role as Christians doesn't stop there, as we must also spread the gospel - in everything we do, in every encounter, and in every time God performs miracles in our lives. Join us as we dive into God's standard for our lives.
