Paul writes this letter to a fellow worker in Christ, but he also addresses the wife, son, and house church of Philemon. From what we understand this is an important letter to a man who God knows is not perfect but needs some guidance. God knows our lives will not be perfect, even though we should strive for perfection each day, which is why He places certain people in our lives to hold us accountable. For you it might be a mentor, a best friend, or a spouse - "As Iron Sharpens Iron," I believed God designed us that we may do life together and do ministry together, and what better people to serve with than with than your own family!
