As Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem, there were ten men who were covered in leprosy begging Jesus to have mercy on them and bring healing, but Christ response was to see the priest, as this was custom for the people to do but only if they could prove the disease was gone. Scripture says as they went the men were healed, in the end only one man returned to Jesus to give praise to God. This story proves that obedience to God is important even when it feels like all hope is lost. Let us not only give God the praise in our best moments, but also in our worst because He's deserving of it all!
