Tariq of the WDKX Wake Up Club is joined by guest, E.R. Walker, to discuss the upcoming Black Equal Pay Day Rally. This event, which will take place on Thursday, August 22nd, was created to highlight the pay gap between Black women and White, non-Hispanic men in the same positions. The rally is meant to educate and activate.
Join E.R. and Rochester area speakers, community leaders, and advocates to rally for pay equity for ALL women.
Attendees are encouraged to wear RED to symbolize how much women are "in the red" with their pay.
