Patricia Larke joins Tariq of the WDKX Wake Up Club to discuss all the resources available to the young people of Rochester at the Center For Youth. In particular, The Center For Youth's Extended Host Home Program helps to assist homeless and parenting/pregnant youth between the ages of 16-24 with temporary housing.
There are several reasons why a young person can end up homeless, CFY is asking Rochester area families to take in homeless youth for any length of time between 1-5 months. During this time, social workers will help place youth in permanent homes.
