Jameelah shares what incited her to contact me, the importance of being in a partnership with your child throughout the college application process, and the resources she found most valuable in selecting Aliyah’s college.
Ms. Jameelah Muhammad was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She has a Masters degree in Hispanic Linguistics from La Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico. Ms. Muhammad has raised 2 children multilingually living abroad in Mexico, Guatemala, Spain and Japan. She is currently a Spanish teacher in Okinawa, Japan where she has sponsored the after-school program, The College Prep Club.
