We take a detour on our lore keeping journey on Following Lucha this week by watching and analyzing the WWE Studios 2016 Film “Countdown,” starring Dolph Ziggler and a gun-wielding Rusev.
Straight up, the movie was boring, uninteresting, and had very few redeeming or embarrassingly bad qualities. Kane is in it, I guess. We also talk current events in wrestling this week, as Cody officially(?) signs with WWE, AEW ghosts Joey Janela & Marko Stunt, and NXT 2.0 goes crazy with Rey Mysterio and Dominik showing up. Also, Thunder Rosa is new AEW women’s world champ, Edge has a new theme song, and Rok-C signs with WWE! Who is CSRO?? Who wants a Smackadilla?!
