Siani Driver from Think Outside Social joins us on the podcast as part of our #EmbraceEquity series for International Women's Day 2023.
In this episode she shares her experiences as a mum of a disabled child whilst managing disabilities of her own and running a business. She talks about her childhood and her wish to create more good in the world by working with businesses that align with her values. We discuss what she'd want people to understand about cerebral palsy and life as a parent carer, her coping mechanisms and the labels she's given by others. We also cover men speaking up against misogyny and sexism, prejudice against marginalised communities, speaking up when we see something wrong, intersectionality and the challenges this brings.
Siani tells us what she'd like to see change, what she wanted to be as a child and the Women Who inspire her.
