📺 Whatcha watching lately?📺
This week on Queerly Canadian, we talk about Queerness on TV… then and now. A topic near and dear to Rebecca’s ♥️!
Back “then” (while we were growing up, the 80s/90s), we had to rely on innuendo, on little crumbs of queerness, on comic books or foreign content. Now, we are finally seeing the normalization, the diversity, and SOME realism represented on tv. (With room to grow, still, obviously!)
We are just finishing up @heartstoppertv on Netflix. You?
