For those involved in any sort of church leadership position, it won't come as any shock to you that we currently find ourselves experiencing a significant leadership crisis amongst us. Obviously, there are various contributing factors to the lack of leaders we see, while the number of vacant leadership positions continues to rise. The result can leave a church and/or Lead Pastor very overwhelmed with the daunting task of trying to find someone to fill that hole from a pool that seems to have no deep end. That being said, I do think we as leaders need to commit ourselves to a proactive approach rather than a reactive one. I get that this issue is much deeper rooted than any of us want to admit, but I also believe you as a leader can become part of the solution versus continuing to feed the problem.
