So tap in as I break down each team and tell you what I love about them, what I hate about them, and if they’ll be seeing the Larry O’Brien trophy this year!
Let’s talk about the Central Division! The Chicago Bulls are a long way from the dynasty of my childhood. Are they at least headed in the right direction or do they need to blow it up and start over?
Then, we need to talk about what the Cleveland Cavaliers are building! They’ve surrounded Donovan Mitchell with some of the best young stars in the game in Darius Garland, Evan Mobley, and Jarrett Allen. But is it enough to make it to the NBA Finals?
The Detroit Pistons aren’t Finals-bound for a while, but they are stockpiling young talent! Can a healthy Cade Cunningham possibly help them make a run for the play-in? Or are they still a year away from Jalen Duren and Jaden Ivey being ready to contribute for a contender?
The Indiana Pacers spent half of last season looking like a playoff team. Can Tyrese Haliburton and Bennedict Mathurin finish the job this year? Or do they still need to make a move or two?
We finish up with the Milwaukee Bucks! We’ve had a couple of weeks to digest the blockbuster trade that got them Damien Lillard. Is it going to be enough to get him his first ring? Also, what do Dame and Giannis have in common that drives me crazy?
