So tap in as I break down each team and tell you what I love about them, what I hate about them, and if they’ll be seeing the Larry O’Brien trophy this year!
Let’s talk about the Pacific Division! The Golden State Warriors have been this generation’s dynasty. Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green are running it back one more time and bringing along an old adversary in Chris Paul. Do they have enough left in the tank for one last title run?
The Los Angeles Clippers have managed to stay afloat despite the well-documented injury issues of their 2 superstars, Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. Will this be the year they’re finally healthy enough to make a run or will head coach Ty Lue have to find other pieces who can get this squad to the postseason?
LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers made a surprising run in last year’s postseason! The team also made a lot of moves in the offseason that look great on paper. Will it all come together on the court so they can add another championship to LeBron’s already-stacked legacy?
The Phoenix Suns have the most talented offensive trio in the NBA in Devin Booker, Kevin Durant, and Bradley Beal. Will they be able to score enough to overcome issues with depth and defense? Or will it all implode as they try to figure out how to balance things offensively?
We finish up with the Sacramento Kings! Last year’s surprise team succumbed to their inexperience in last year’s playoffs. Will they put the knowledge from that valuable lesson to good use this year or do they still need more time in the classroom?
