They talk about taking time to decompress after the season ends, training with a team or teammate versus training alone, knowing your body and when to push yourself or when to take an off day, practicing positive self-talk, and building internal motivation that will allow you to pursue your goals when you are feeling unmotivated, sluggish, or not seeing instant results. You can try to fool others but you can't fool yourself.
