Here’s a quick summary of the video:
1) We are to be servants, not slaves of one another.
2) We are responsible to one another and God.
3) He who loves his wife loves himself.
It’s not about who is right, but what is right.
4) Submission does not rule, dominate or oppress.
5) The man has been given the title of head of the woman. This bears more responsibility (to protect and cover).
6) What Christ commands is for our good, not for selfish gain.
7)There is no love without free will. In healthy relationships, partners are not forced into submission.
8) Submission is an act that is expressed mutually and voluntarily.
9) Remember, the husband has a responsibility to be submitted to.
10) No one is always right. The wife is a helpmeet. A helper who is equal in power and ability to her husband.
