We know God created marriage, but what were His intentions for it?
There are many lessons we can learn from this passage of scripture that can help our marriage.
Let's talk about it...
We were created in the concept and character of God.
God created humans in His image (Spirit), meaning we are to resemble and act like God. We see the same "image and the likeness" wording in Gen 5:3 (When Adam had lived 130 years, he fathered a son in his own likeness, according to his image, and named him Seth.).
We are made in God's likeness (character, love, oneness), which means we also share these attributes. Therefore, we must reflect Him in our character and actions with each other.
