"This is going to hurt me more than this hurts you." That may be one of the biggest lies parents tell their children. If you have a wound, the healing process hurts. A lot. In John 4, Jesus has a conversation with a Samaritan woman who has a very real wound. And gracefully, Jesus presses into her wound.
