In the early 1500s, an artist by the name of Michelangelo took what was thought to be a ruined slab of marble and turned it into one of the most amazing statues ever created – the statue of King David. Michelangelo could see something within the massive piece of marble that others couldn’t see. He could see what it could become, not just what it was.
