The Arrogance of Christ (Mark 14:53–65). They look to prove Jesus wrong based on their own moral relativism. They ask Jesus about his identity? What is the only answer they will accept? They are indignant Jesus won’t fold. They are aghast at the arrogance of Christ to assert He is the Christ. They ask Christ prophesy and reject his proclamation of Himself.
