For years the outback has been the number one hotspot for UFO's , so much so that one tiny town on the Stuart Highway claims to be the Aussie UFO capitol . There have been many news reports over the years but no one can top the NT News for wacky UFO stories - something Media watch tried to dispute but they totally got owned by the cheeky editor of the paper at the time , Julian Ricci , which I cover in this episode.
We then move on to Yowies , as I once had a Yowie Hunting neighbour who sparked my interest in this mythical giant ape. But with so many sightings over the years , it leaves you wondering how mythical they are. In this part of the episode we listen to what is supposedly a Yowie screaming ( Ill let you make up your own mind ) and a summary of the highly entertaining doco by Isaac Butterfield who takes us Yowie hunting up in the Glasshouse Mountains
