Eventhough it's been around for thousands of years, and has received so much attention in the last 5-7 years through apps like Headspace and Calm, and stories around the success of famous CEO's/founders who tout the benefits - there's still a disconnect as to what it actually is.

Here's what it's not:

It's not something that stops your thoughts

It's not easy for everyone

It's not comfortable at first

Here's what it is:

It's the witnessing of our thoughts that are playing on a loop in the background and are running our life (thoughts lead to behavior).

It's uncomfortable at times and feels foreign

It can feel hard to do or that you "aren't doing it right".
