“Jesus, I surrender myself to you. Take care of everything.”
I heard this prayer at Bible study yesterday. It’s called the Surrender Novena.
And I thought - Take care of everything? Take care of EVERYTHING!?!? But what would I do if I didn’t worry about all the outcomes constantly? That’s really asking a heck of a lot from me to trust someone else to take care of everything.
As I sat in silence with this prayer, I thought of all the things weighing on my mind and my heart that I truly can’t control. It made me realize how much unnecessary weight I carry through the day. What’s on your heart that you need to surrender?
