In this episode I explore an article in History Magazine written by Brad Myers about when ventriloquist Edgar Bergen performed with Charlie McCarthy in his hometown of Decatur, Michigan in 1952. The performance was recorded before a live audience by CBS Radio, and included performances by some local people in the community.
