Investing is a bit of a taboo subject. Which to me is completely bizarre because if implemented correctly, it can irreversible improve your life for the better.
Where I believe the perception comes from, is people don’t differentiate between speculating and investing. Speculating is trying to predict the future with your little magic crystal ball or even betting on a hope that one company will rise above the rest. Sure, you could win a lot, but, the odds are you may very well lose it all because if that supposed rock fails where will you end up?
Investing on the other hand, is when you diversify to the point where risk is no longer the threat of losing all your money, but, instead volatility, the level of ups and downs. So before you approach the cliff of financial hardship take a leap of faith and listen to this week’s podcast as we break down this difference.
