Remember being stressed out of your mind is a choice. There are many things we can do to shift the stress...Start asking yourself these questions:
What can I do to relax?
What brings me joy and makes me feel good?
What do I have control over?
What daily habits am I committed to ?
How can you leave a positive impact on the world around you?
Now focus on what you do know and leave behind what you don’t know…
Don’t take yourself and life so seriously. (There are very few emergencies.)
Keep up your healthy daily habits, including spiritual practices if you have those.
Finish those tasks and projects that are overwhelming you.
Practice gratitude everyday for all the things you love and are adding to your life
Use your stress as a window in your life to see what is really going on...
If you find yourself still stressed at times even when you are incorporating these things and more, remember stress is an opportunity to look at our lives more carefully and see where we may be out of balance. Use stress to gain a new perspective to prioritize, get creative, and productive in ways that will bring you into a better place. What you don’t know and can’t get a handle on just doesn’t matter. AT ALL! Trust me.
