Bio:  
Dr. Uzoamaka (Uzo) Nwankpa, DNP, MSN-PH, RN, is a community health registered nurse, ceremonialist, dancer, educator, researcher, and advocate for healing through the arts. She is dedicated to preserving and restoring Igbo spirituality and traditional African arts practices. Uzo is an assistant professor at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, CA, and CEO of Wellness Promoters LLC. She developed the RICHER Model, a 5 step process to create a healing experience. She believes in the power of music and dance to enhance wellbeing and promotes health awareness through indigenous music and dance practices. As a Igbo woman and global citizen, Uzo uses innovative workshops, presentations, and performances to promote joy and prevent burnout among healthcare workers.
