In memory of long lost episode 19 we finally do what we did then and complete a 3 hour breakdown of the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe! Join us today as Zach, our bonus addition guest (and long time listener/avid Sweat Equity Fitness attendee) Colton and myself go step by step through all 28 films beginning with 2008's Ironman and the fondly remembered 'Infinity Sage' all the way to Thor Love & Thunder and the illfated 'Multiverse Saga'. Feast your ears as we vigorously discuss and debate the highs, the lows, our favourite films/moments/characters/relationships/quotes/soundtracks/directors (of which there is an abundance, clearly), trivia/previous knowledge, unanswered questions, potential edits, how Ironman is RDJ's 'Jack Sparrow', which characters are underrated/underserved, which plotlines are executed successfully, debate if we would rather feel bored or insulted as an audience, if Cap could have picked up Mjolnir in AOU, and go toe to toe as our individual MCU tastes are surprisingly and hilariously different! All to finally culminate in our top 5 best and worst of which Colton's will definitely surprise you...rest assured there are some HOT TAKES! Honestly, I went full Steve Austin stomping mudholes and walking them dry as this is probably my most enjoyable episode as not only did we partially redeem long lost episode 19, but I finally get to express my unabashed passion towards the MCU and how far I believe they have fallen by comparing it to the godly enterprise it once was! So yes, I agree with Scorsese...for the most part. Cousin Zack, you missed out brudda.
We also dedicate time to catching up with 'Toronto Zach' as this is our first episode since Zach rebranded himself and moved to the six, share how Colton holds my dream job of working at the movie theatre, discuss the new theatre at Kildonan Place, Jurassic Park, BBC Sherlock, the signficant age difference between the three of us/how that affect our perspective, reflect on how we felt and where/who we were when we first watched these films...needless to say we 'can do this all day'.
