Listen

Description

Keith is a person who a lot of people are familiar with, as he is the CEO of PRTC (People's Rural Telephone Cooperative).

The interview starts with Mr. Gabbard sharing the story of his great grandfather migrating here from Syria and working as a traveling merchant.

Papaw Paul sits in once again as co-host and it is a real treat to listen to the two of them reminisce about days on the softball field, playing basketball, and eating at Keith's grandmother's house.

The history of PRTC is shared in this episode and the first 'dialed' telephone call that was made in the county. With some of the best internet speeds in The United States, PRTC has really made a lot of accomplishments over the years and continues to grow. Keith is very humble about it, and gives full credit to everyone who had a part in making it all happen.
