Description

I remember when I first heard about PTSD. I was a youth and from what I remember, most of what I heard about it was related to men who went to the Vietnam War. Not a lot was spoken about victims of abuse dealing with PTSD as it is today. There were issues in our community with couples experiencing abuse in the home due to trauma experienced by the men who served during the war. As told by my parents, and the other adults in my community, young men were taken from high school and taken to the war zone to participate in the war. Today's episode is the connection of PTSD and abuse.
