This week we are discussing how to help someone you believe is thinking of suicide by recognizing signs and symptoms, and things you can do to help.
My hope is that everyone is in a safe place and enjoying time with their loved ones.
If you are under the sound of my voice, and you are someone who is thinking of a way out, reach out to someone you trust to talk. If you do not have someone you trust to talk about it to, you can call the National Domestic Violence hotline at 1 (800) 799-7233. If you are unable to speak safely, you can text LOVEIS to 1 (866) 331-9474. If you are someone considering suicide 1 (800) 273-8255. If you are a Veteran press option 1. If you prefer to text rather than talk, you can text TALK to 741741 and text with a trained crisis counselor from the Crisis Text Line for free, 24/7.
For all emergencies dial *911.
