In this weeks episode we sit down with the talented, vibrant and delightful woman Bri Morris. Coming from a musical background, we have a great chat with her about her career as a Piano teacher having played piano since she was age five and how wonderful she is enjoying having her hobby as her career.
Bri touches on the cost of living as a student commuting daily to college, the outrageous rent costs and crisis in this country and the effect it is having on us not only financially but mentally too, which is a reason why a lot of the youth in Ireland are leaving the country.
Bri speaks to us about our mental well being and bravely shares with us her own struggles she has had herself as a woman mentally which is something that can resonate with many of us both men and women. She speaks on the organisations that are in Ireland such as Pieta House, to help those struggling with mental health and how she approached them herself during times of hardship she was experiencing and shares with us on how to approach someone who is suffering with their mental health.
As an advocate for women, Bri shares her perception with us on how frustrating it is having men approach women every weekend who don't take no for an answer when it comes to unsolicited advances and her own experiences with this. She also reveals to us how unsafe Ireland has become for women, especially out late at night and the tools women can use to stay safe.
This was such a funny, insightful and deep conversation which is one we really enjoyed having with Bri and we hope you enjoy listening.
